My background is in broadcast journalism, so, of course, I’m still passionate about video. I started out at NBC Nightly News, learning about the art and science of live television news in the control room of 30 Rock. While I was there, I produced several stories (linked below).
I picked up even more video skills when I went to The Indianapolis Star. I was a breaking news/general assignment reporter and worked on the newsroom’s TikTok on the side. I pitched ideas, wrote scripts, edited videos and appeared as the on-camera host.
